Badly Written Romance Novels

Wed Feb 11, 2009, 3:35 PM
I'm still reading them.

Other than that... not much. Lots of homework that requires me to write code on VIM. I hate writing code on VIM. The VIM copy paste system is one of the worst ones I've seen, ever. But I'll write it and LIKE it... because I gotta xD

I think the reason this journal never gets updated is because I don't really have all that much to say.

XD.

Do you read the well-written ones, too?

They exist, you know.

X3

Well, you know, sometimes poorly written stories are better than not reading anything at all. At least, that's what I keep telling myself after I read a poorly written story.

What? I didn't do it. :innocent:

But, but, but...

vim is awesome!

(OK, yeah, the copy-paste thing is a little unintuitive for GUI people, but it seems to be the best attempt at implementing such a system on the command-line.)

Do you read poorly-written ones with covers that demand to be made fun of?

I'm about halfway through one of those.

Have been for over a year.
:iconkitclairvoyance:
I -like- VIM. ;___;

One of these days I'm gonna believe,
One of these days I'm gonna break free.
I'm gonna reach into the night, and not settle for just the stars.
I'm gonna move right by them. Come and try to find me in the dark.

Butbutbut I don't. ;________________;

I like gedit. Cept. I can't run it over ssh. Because. I would have to be able to access the school's servers. Which I can't. ;_____________;

Critics will grumble. Of course they will. That's one of the functions of critics. As an artist it's your job to give them ulcers, and perhaps even something to get apoplectic about. -- Neil Gaiman

I'll give it that it's good at command line. xD But still, have you ever tried CPing a piece of code from a GUI (or your prof's online stuff) into VIM? It looks terrible.

That and the bracket highlights do me in every time, since they're close to the same colour of the cursor when they're next to each other.
